Profit before tax (PBT) of Alembic Pharmaceuticals Ltd stood at Rs 221.86 crore in Q2 FY26, jumping 16.70% year-on-year, and surging by 87.03% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 317 crore, expanding by 15.31% YoY and rallying 56.57% sequentially. Total expenses rose by 12.13% to Rs 1915.62 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 517.3 crore, witnessing a sharp rise of 27.97% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 473.94 crore, rising by 7.98% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations grew 10.08% to Rs 7344.9 crore, while net profit improved by 15.26% to Rs 670.83 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA soared by 100466% to Rs 1064.05 crore, and PBT softened 1.87% to Rs 693.95 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 782.73 crore in FY26, as against Rs 87.97 crore in FY25. Alembic Pharmaceuticals Ltd tumbled by 16.66% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 2.94% during the same period.
